2009 Walleye Season

The 2009 Walleye season started with a bang with many fish being being caught.

A group of our residents won the tournament with 64 walleye being caught. The quantity and quality of the fish was a very impressive sight to behold.

Bookings for the 2010 opening season are being taken now, however any booking for tha period will be for a minimum of one week per cabin.

2009 Deer

This year has seen a long and cold winter which has had a major impact on the deer stocks on many areas accross the country, with reports of many deer dying due to the bad weather and lack of food.

Fortunately the opposite seems to have happened in our area as I have spotted many deer this year and look forward to a highly successful season. The sheer number of deer spotted this year at different times and locations leads me to think this could be a bumper year. These pictures here were simply taken whilst driving around earlier this year and athough they are not exactly high quality pictures they give you an insight into what has been spotted.
